Where is...

We're going to play a little game called Where Is...? about former Major League players who showed some promise, and what they're doing now. Here's installment #1...

Tim Redding, former starting pitcher - Houston Astros.

Was it really four years ago that Redding posted his best season of his career, and that season was a losing one? Going 10-14 in 176 innings, second only to Wade Miller, for Jimy Williams' 2003 Astros, yet posting a 3.68 ERA...

Redding spent one more season with Astros and was traded in 2005 to the Padres for catcher Humberto Quintero and then was traded mid-season to the Yankees. In New York, Redding made one start - at Boston (nice welcome, huh?) - lasted 1+ inning and gave up six runs on four hits and four walks.

Now Redding is fighting for a starting job with the Nationals. Good luck to him...

I think he's probably in the last place I saw him- On the deck of the S.V. Legacy. Probably still yelling at his crazy kids and his drunk, provocatively dressed wife.
