Restraining Order

Former "American Idol" contestant Corey Clark has pleaded guilty to harassing his father-in-law.Clark is the contestant from the second season of "American Idol" who claimed he had an affair with Paula Abdul, which she denies.The singer pleaded guilty Oct. 2 in Yuma, Ariz., to a felony charge of aggravated harassment involving domestic violence.

Authorities said that Clark violated a court order in August 2006 by placing several calls to his father-in-law.Clark's wife had filed a protective order in June 2006, which prohibited Clark from having contact with her and eight other people, including their child.Prosecutors said four other charges against Clark were dismissed.Clark faces up to two years in prison and a $150,000 fine. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
