Bummer Sooner

Let me tell you who the real winner is in the no-tv sweepstakes: our remote control. Halfway through the Statue of Liberty play in last year's Fiesta Bowl classic with Boise State and Oklahoma (which would be the greatest football game I have ever seen if I wasn't a Texas fan) Kami threw the remote control like she was Satchel Paige against the wall and broke the daggum thing in about 40 pieces. So not being able to see the game means that our walls, flooring and remote slept comfortably.

Oh. -4 this morning. -21 with the wind chill.

Top 10 albums of the year in no particular order...

Radiohead's "In Rainbows"
Modest Mouse's "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank"
Spoon's "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga"
The Broken West's "I Can't Go On I'll Go On"
Wilco's "Sky Blue Sky"
Orgone's "The Killion Floor"
Arcade Fire's "Neon Bible"
White Stripes' "Icky Thump"
Andrew Bird's "Armchair Apocrypha"

Always one of the best albums of the year: Spoon's "Gimme Fiction"

I've always had this theory that once it gets below around 10 degrees, it falls into the category of just being cold. Is that a theory I should still hold to or is there truly a difference?
