So I check the Weather Channel's website every now and then because I like to know what's going on, I guess. Now that I think of it, there's no good reason why I check the Weather Channel's website. I'll stop. But anyway, this was on their front page for this weekend's weather...
"While hot spots will be few this weekend, storms will hit the Northeast and fire from the central Plains to Mississippi."
Fire from the central Plains to Mississippi? That's a lot of fire, and shouldn't be tucked in underneath how pleasant the rest of the country will be, except for the Northeast, where there will be some storms.
It's like if I wrote the following weather report:
"The Pacific Northwest is going to be unseasonably warm this weekend, while the Midwest will enjoy sunshine. Most of the Southwest will be breezy and warm, while the state of Florida will have to worry about the furious effects of ball lightning."
