A Tale of Two Coaches

Good for Billy Donovan, and as for Bob "Miller" Huggins, well, who really was surprised that the team who was willing to give him his second shot was the same team who got sold down the river for the next job offer that came along?

Billy Donovan spurned Kentucky, no longer an elite program, to stay at the new elite program which he helped build. People are shocked, but why? It's the smartest move. Nope, my problem is with coaches like Hug and Petrino and Saban, who swear loyalty only to be lured away by bigger schools. But you know what created this culture? The BCS. If the difference between the Independence Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl is $15 million. And the difference between those two bowls is a coaching position at a BCS school? Thanks, NCAA, you've created an atmosphere where being the head coach at the University of Alabama is more attractive - and lucrative - than the head coach of the Miami Dolphins...
